Biography
Jiwoon Kim is a Composting Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks most recently completing work on the global phenomenon KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, for Sony Pictures Animation and Netflix.
Previously, Kim served as Compositing Supervisor on ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA and THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER. He was a Lead Compositor on the Academy Award®-winning SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, the Academy Award®-nominated SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE and THE MITCHELLS VS. THE MACHINES, THE SEA BEAST, THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 2, and HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION.
His credits as a Senior Compositor at Imageworks include: SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE, SUICIDE SQUAD, and ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS.
Prior to Imageworks, Kim served in various compositing roles at Tangent Animation, Zoic Studios, ILM, Scanline, and Prime Focus World.
