Biography
Peter J. Cobb is a field archaeologist and a ceramics specialist. He leads archaeological fieldwork in Armenia to help better understand the human past of ancient Southwest Asia. He also experiments with digital technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection and interpretation in the field. He holds an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, a Masters from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a PhD in Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also subsequently taught for two years. He is now in the School of Humanities at the University of Hong Kong.
