Ying Tai received the bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees from Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST) in 2012 and 2017, respectively. In 2016, he was a visiting scholar at the Michigan State University. From 2017 to 2023, he was a principal researcher and team leader at Tencent Youtu Lab. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Intelligence Science and Technology, Nanjing University. He is the author of more than 80 scientific papers in pattern recognition and computer vision. His papers have been cited over 13,000 times by Google Scholar. His research interests are generative computer vision technologies, including human-centric content editing and generation, high-fidelity image/video restoration, and multimodal content understanding and generation. Currently, he is an associate editor of Image and Vision Computing. He was the area chairs of ECCV 2022, WACV 2023-2025 and FG 2023.
