Biography
Jaki Shi is a visual designer and new media artist, with a master’s from the Royal College of Art. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Media and Arts at HKSUT (GZ). Her practice and research focus on digital heritage, scripts, and interactive experience. Her artworks have been showcased at Ars Electronica, Siggraph Asia, ISEA, VISAP, IJCHI, the European Science Festival, VINCI, and other global exhibitions and academic conferences. Combining poetic expression with research-driven methodologies, Jaki focuses on the translatability and resonance of symbols, language, and scripts within cross-cultural contexts.
