Professor, PhD supervisor, University of Science and Technology of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China "Outstanding Youth" winner. He is the chairman of the Department of Computing and Applied Mathematics, School of Mathematical Science, and the director of Anhui Key Laboratory of Graphic Computing and Perceptual Interaction. He received his PhD in applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University in 2001. He is engaged in computer Graphics research, and has published more than 50 papers in ACM Trans. on Graphics, the top journal in this field.
