Zhongyu Yang is currently a Remote Research Intern at the Bayes Centre for Machine Intelligence and Robotics (BCML) Lab, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, supervised by Prof. Wei Pang. He previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Management from Lanzhou University, China. His long-term research goal is to develop general-purpose multimodal systems capable of perceiving, reasoning, and communicating effectively across visual, textual, and behavioral modalities in dynamic, real-world environments.
