Seongmin Baek received his M.S. degree in Computer Science (Virtual Reality) from Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Korea, in 2001. He has been with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) since 2001, where he worked as a researcher and senior researcher until 2015 and has served as a principal researcher in the Immersive Interaction Research Section since 2016. His research interests include user avatar control and immersive interaction technologies for enhancing realism in virtual environments.
